Together with Pfizer, we just launched the new Speaking Book: Growing Your Health - The Wellness Tree which educates people on the importance of healthy lifestyle to prevent noncommunicable diseases.
Olga Sherman on 10/19/2012Lilian Dube urged the audience to pay closer attention to their health, as well as to begin changing behaviors that increase their risk of cancer, diabetes or heart disease, like smoking, eating unhealthily and avoiding exercise.Dr Jack Watters, Pfizer’s Vice President for External Medical Affairs, said: "NCDs have been overshadowed by the focus on infectious diseases, but continuing to ignore this subject can result in a health catastrophe. These Speaking Books will help people take control of their health and simultaneously overcome the challenge of low literacy – just because someone cannot read, doesn’t mean they don’t deserve access to this vital information."

We just returned from a very successful CDC National Conference on "Health Communication, Marketing and Media" in Atlanta, GA, August 7-9th.

We have just completed a new Speaking Book supporting the MTN Qhubeka initiative to mobilize change one bike at a time by rewarding children for planting trees and cleaning up the environment.

Olga Sherman on 07/15/2012We connected with many of our existing pharmaceutical clients and garnered much interest from new prospects in the industry, particularly from Clinical Research Organizations (CROs). Everyone was most impressed that Speaking Books addresses so many of the low literacy informed consent issues.
We will be showcasing our Speaking Books for Clinical Trials at the upcoming DIA 2012 (Drug Information Association) in Philadelphia's Conference Center from June 24-28th.
